CERT & preparedness expo readiness day
A readiness day for CERT expos and community responder trainings that need dependable on-site communications.
Preparedness expos succeed when visitors learn skills and volunteers stay synchronized. This readiness day helps partners plan communications before doors open.
Why a dedicated readiness day
Expos have moving parts: registration lines, outdoor demos, classroom rotations, and partner tables. A short briefing plus staged radios keeps those pieces connected.
What to bring to the briefing
A draft floor plan, estimated attendance, volunteer lead contacts, and any known radio-restricted zones. If you already have licensed or eligible operators, note that in your request.
