Communications for the public good
Charity Communications Foundation exists so nonprofits and civic partners can borrow the radios and support they need'without carrying that cost alone.
A Washington nonprofit since 2010
Recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity effective May 10, 2010, Charity Communications Foundation is organized to strengthen public safety and disaster-related communications capacity for charitable and community work.
We are volunteer-powered. That means donations go toward readiness'equipment care, logistics, and the practical support partners need when an event or response depends on clear communication.
Public safety & disaster relief through satellite support
Our seal says it plainly: selected design, satellite support; organization mission, public safety and disaster relief.
What that means in practice
We loan two-way radio and related communications equipment to eligible educational, charitable, civic, and community organizations for short-duration events and preparedness activities—especially across the Greater Puget Sound.
Partners remain responsible for lawful operation. We help make sure the tools are available when communities gather, train, or respond.
